Until further notice, the food distribution system at First Baptist Church Basile (contact info is listed below the signature line) is as follows:

1, Every third Tuesday from Noon to 3p

2, The distro is for residents of Evangeline Parish area

3. Clients must show proof of ID and address (official ID such as drivers license, state ID; utility bill for proof of address, etc).  An accommodation will be made for clients who don’t have the aforesaid documentation

     a, Under C-19, this requirement is somewhat relaxed. However, anyone who shows up will be given a food box and an application, which they should return filled out on their next visit

4. Under C-19, clients are contacted by phone or email and issued a number and timeframe during which they should pick up their food box

    a, First-time clients can just show up anytime during the distro and they will be served. Plus, given the application to be returned filled out on their next visit

5, Drive-ups, walk-ups and roll-ups (bikes, cycles, etc.) are permitted. The food boxes will be brought outside to clients, with social distancing protocols being practiced
