Community Kitchen
MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to work, alone and in collaboration with others, to eliminate hunger in Monroe County and surrounding areas through direct service, education and advocacy.
At Community Kitchen, there are no eligibility requirements for any of our meal programs; if you need a warm, nutritious meal, all are welcome. We target families and individuals in the lowest socioeconomic levels.
Notes:
Besides offering a warm, nutritious meal Monday through Saturday at our 2 brick and mortar locations, our food truck delivery's meals directly to low income residents. Other programs and services include our Summer Food Service Program, Back Pack Buddies for school-age children, Senior Links meals for homebound seniors, and Nutrition Links meals for homebound HIV+ patients.
