So What Else
MISSION STATEMENT:
So What Else’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families living in underserved communities in the Baltimore-Washington Metro Area by providing food security, access to basic necessities, and high-quality out-of-school time programs in literacy, athletics, and the visual and performing arts while inspiring young people to give back to the community by creating volunteer opportunities for individuals of all ages.

Activism: So What Else was founded by asking those in need how we could help? Paying it forward and serving others is at the foundation of everything we do and is a value demonstrated in all of our programming.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Ensuring our programs and opportunities are inclusive and equitable is essential to our mission. We celebrate the diversity and value the intersections of the communities we serve, our staff, and our community partners.
