New Mexico Veterans for Pets
MISSION STATEMENT:
New Mexico Vets for Pets is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families, supporting veterans, and addressing food insecurity in Albuquerque’s International District and surrounding communities. Through our partnership with Roadrunner Food Bank, we provide regular food distributions that help ensure individuals and families have reliable access to nutritious food. Our volunteer-driven approach brings together residents, schools, community organizations, public agencies, and local leaders to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. By reducing barriers to food access and mobilizing neighbors to serve one another, we work to create lasting solutions that improve quality of life for both people and the animals that share their homes.
